1. About Yatrain
Yatrain is an independent iOS application developed by Balkrishna Parab that provides live train tracking, PNR status, schedule information, and related travel utilities for Indian Railways passengers.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 4 years of age to use Yatrain (as per the App Store age rating). By using the app you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
3. Licence to Use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Yatrain on Apple devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code.
- Use the app for any commercial purpose or resell access to it.
- Use automated tools to scrape train data from the app.
4. Train Data Accuracy Disclaimer
- Data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.
- Always verify critical travel information (departure time, platform, reservation status) through official IRCTC sources or station inquiry.
- Yatrain and its developer are not responsible for any missed trains, incorrect boarding, or financial loss arising from reliance on information displayed in the app.
- Live GPS tracking depends on RailRadar and third-party data availability — it may not be available for all trains or routes.
5. Your Account
You may use Yatrain without an account for basic features. An account (email + password, or Sign in with Apple/Google) is required for:
- Saving favourite trains across devices.
- Accessing Yatrain Pro subscription benefits.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at balkrishnap@me.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Yatrain Pro — Subscription Terms

- Subscriptions are charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- They automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
- Prices may vary by country and are subject to change with advance notice.
- Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple. To request a refund visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
A free plan with limited features is available without any payment.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law.
- Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any server or database connected to Yatrain.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the app or its services.
- Use the app to engage in any fraudulent activity.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics, code, and branding in Yatrain are the exclusive property of Balkrishna Parab and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Indian Railways schedule data is the property of Indian Railways / IRCTC and is used under their applicable terms through authorised API providers.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Yatrain is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Balkrishna Parab shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
- Any loss resulting from reliance on train information displayed in the app.
- Service interruptions caused by third-party API providers.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).
10. Third-Party Services
Yatrain connects to third-party services (IRCTC, RailRadar, Supabase) to provide its functionality. These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of these third-party services.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Yatrain at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Settings → Delete Account in the app. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notification. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest revision. Continued use of Yatrain after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
